Duo Maggini

The internationally active musicians, the Moldovan violinist Rusanda Panfili and Croatian pianist Una Smrekar, made their first appearance as a duo in 2015 at the renowned Vienna Konzerthaus. The extensive repertoire from Mozart and Beethoven to Franck, Grieg, Debussy, Ravel, Piazzolla etc., is enriched by the very special sound of the 400-year-old violin of the Italian violin maker Paolo Maggini. Both artists were active members of Yehudi Menuhin's Live Music Now Organization for highly talented musicians. Panfili and Smrekar were Master students at the eminent University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

The artistic path led them regularly to international concert halls, such as in Sweden, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece and Austria.
